blogs blogs blogs

I don’t know what it is with blogs… First of all I think there already are way too many, but well, I always hope people get demotivated as soon as they discover hardly anyone is interested in what they have to say :-) It’s great almost everybody is able to publish what they want, doesn’t mean everyone has something interesting to say… ;-) (BTW, I don’t consider this a blog)

Technorati, a San Francisco research company, says there are about 2.5 million blogs, with 10,000 being created each day.

The Pew Research Center estimates that between 2 and 7 percent of adult Internet users write a blog, and 11 percent visit blogs.

Well, news like this just makes me sad(only a little…), if my math is allright that means that (if we presume that people who start a blog also visit others…) of all people visiting blogs somewhere between 18 and 63% also write a blog… to make it a round number, say 40%... that’s just sad…

Anyway, I only visit a few and those are in my bookmarks for years already and I hardly add one. The last one which actually made it into my bookmarks is:

Veerle’s blog

It seems to have a lot I like to read about in my free time… and it’s a very good collection of links which I can use to make geektechnique.org version 2 an even better one :-)
