those Jedi beotches
Well, here’s the Star Wars Episode III trailer with 1337 subtitles :-)
they should do this to the whole series imho, that way I might enjoy it too…

need I say more?
Oh yes… this technique would, imho, also be excellent to make something similar (maybe a tad smaller) to hang on your wall, wouldn’t it? (/me checks his calendar)
love goddess issue
Well, not normally the content I post here(hey! it’s an obsolete magazine!), I’m aware of that, but I thought this was incredibly funny and if I would see this issue for sale somewhere I would definitely buy it… just for the coffeetable-value, who wouldn’t want a ‘Love Goddess Issue’ on his coffeetable (and/or Video Projection System)?
How to get two Apple 30" on your PC...
Well, only with the right equipment of course (with a dual dual-DVI-card to be exact, yes, that’s two times dual)... But take a look at the result… the smaller screen you see is a 20” Eizo
This guy runs a 5120×1600 desktop…
a pity he runs windows though… how big do you want that blue screen to be? (yes, that’s a lame joke, I know… but I couldn’t resist! ;-))
...more things you can do
...on a sunday afternoon. Making a frame for a tile.
Well, actually the idea was just placing it in a frame, but well, when you decide you’re gonna buy some kitsch-frame at a pseudo-antique-store when you’re in town and don’t have the tile or know the measurements of it, you know what happens… it’s way too big…(at least some people will know where I went when seeing that statue)
Sooo… I’ve been busy making it fit. It does have some flaws here and there, but I’m no woodworker and of course, it is antique now!
stick up, new york!
a sunday-afternoon is an excellent time to do some sticker browsing :-)
I'm just a normal guy...
and this guy is one hell of a geek…
just take a look at his equipment…
he who dies with the most toys wins (I guess)
the aesthetics of failure
Bring in the ERR¬OR project:
an attempt to build a public library(THE RAW ARCHIVE) of glitches and errors in digital media. Eventually this has to lead to a series of events (experiments with audio and images that have been inspired by glitches and errors).
The Aesthetics of Failure
It is failure that guides evolution;
perfection offers no incentive for
improvementgetting to grips with a Cisco
Well, this night I’ve been playing around with a Cisco…
You can read all about it here (and yes, it involved homemade cables, serial terminalsessions and an old Mac… so yes, I do like Cisco, I guess ;-) )
Surprise!
...the last couple of months, in between other things, I’ve been busy behind the scenes to do some work on a site, just because I like to do it, the people involved are nice and well, I have fun doing it, to me that’s all there’s to it.
...and then they surprise you with a gift…
a tile!
Oh, if you’re Dutch (or able to read it), check out the site involved and don’t forget the weblogs (that’s where most of my work went, next to some old-school unix-stuff only a root can do).
