iNoPhone nada headset
Of all the iNoPhones I made, the iNoPhone nada is my favourite. Why?
Well, because it most closely resembles the iNo, it is also the purest of the breed and it’ll do whatever your imagination allows it to do. It’s the iNoPhone for the true minimalist.

...but, ever since I got an iPhone (for future projects), it struck me that the iNoPhone nada came without a headset! So I’ve been ‘making’ a headset for the iNoPhone nada and in this process the iNoPhone nada now resembles the iNo even more! Better yet, the iNoPhone nada headset can be used all on its own and probably has the best use that way! (scroll down for that)
requirements:
- some old (defective) iPod headphones, you can probably pick ‘em up from a friend.
- white duct tape, something every style obsessed geek already owns.
The major visual difference between the iPhone stereo headset and old (in my case even first generation) iPod headphones, is this microphone and call-pickup-button in one. Like all the nitty gritty details on expensive branded products, I’m pretty sure there are enough nutcases out there who are spotting the now quite common white headphones in, for instance, public transport, for this microphone to see if it’s an iPhone you carry around. If you just want to have a crack at that, you could convert your working iPod headphones also like this of course.
Cut a piece of white duct tape to make it the same width of the microphone. Roll it around the iPod headphones.
Looks like a million dollars to me! ^_^
And if you’re a proud owner of an iNoPhone nada, you can attach the plug in exactly the same way as the iNo.
And here you have them both. an iPhone with headset and an iNoPhone nada with headset.

and now what?
How do you use this? Well, the iNo and the iNoPhone are meant for the imaginative minimalist out there and so is this headset:
And if your skills in pretending are top notch, you can even do like this…. wear *only* the headset! ^_^
This headset on its own or with the iNoPhone nada allows you to ignore people who talk to you and/or to say insane things in public, because people will think you either listen to your iPod or have a conversation on your iPhone… For bonus enjoyment you can always pull the plug (out of your jacket).
Well, whatever you do…
enjoi! (at least, that’s what my jacket says).

Thats pretty sweet. It would suck if you got jumped over it though… I think i like the 1st gen headphones better that the second, third, and fourth gen, because of the cool gray accents… but they are no match for the 5th and 6th gen! How are you liking your iPhone? Mine bricked when i did the 1.1.1 update, and lucky me, Apple replaced it for me… Cant wait for your next project… i might have to do something myself- i have a couple Lombard PBs sitting around, and a dual processor xeon motherboard, and a HP plotter..hmmm
