travel hint #3

Well, I promised to tell you where I’m located, but too be totally honest, I’m too exhausted now to tell a nice story about how I’m here and what I’m doing here. I hope the pictures will tell you something.

...notice the intranet-address on that can?

...oh, this is me, with in the background the house of … Mr. Bill G., kid you not…

Well, I’m doing fine out here. I’m not here to sign a contract or become a MS fanboy or anything. (Notice my t-shirt?). I do have a great time out here, that’s for sure.

For people interested in what I’m actually doing out here, check the Flickr photoset.

I’ll be back soon ;-)

Now it all makes sense! Maybe you can subliminally slip some F/OSS suggestions into their collective brain.

Holy crap, batman – you’re right in my neck of the woods. In fact, I’m headed over that way tomorrow. I live across the water and have a great view of Seattle. If you have nothing else to do some night, hop a ferry over to Bremerton and ride it back (don’t bother staying there – it’s rather boring) – the view makes the long roundtrip totally worth it. Seattle’s gorgeous at night.

Wow…if MS is really handing out those cans of soda…they must really be putting their hopes on vista. I can’t wait until reality comes and bites them.

Or maybe not, if they actually get it right for Vista. Time will tell.

wow, well, holy crap to you too! I just arrived back home, but I did get to make a boattrip on Lake Washington and see something of the Seattle skyline at night. It’s gorgeous indeed and actually, that’s all I saw of Seattle… ;-)

    >did you get to see gates?

Well, I did get to see a whole lot of gates, but only on Seattle Airport :D
