HDRI in photography

I blogged about the use of High-Dynamic Range Imaging(HDRI) in games before (here and here) but now it seems the use of HDRI in photography is the next trend after tilt-shifting.

Wikipedia has an excellent entry on High-Dynamic Range Imaging and PingMag has an excellent feature on the use of HDRI in photograpy.
